Cool NFT Creators #4 “AMANA”

This is the fourth installment of our project titled “Cool NFT Creators,” in which we mainly introduce interviews with NFT creators.
This project is intended to introduce active NFT creators to a wider audience.

The content is quite simple.
Each time, we ask a creator a question about herself or her work, and have the creator answer.

Since the text is based on the words of the creators themselves, you will be able to get a sense of the characters and other aspects of their work.
I am sure you will hear some very special stories.

The 4th NFT creator is AMANA.

AMANA” is active not only in OpenSea but also in the foundation.
She is a creator with a wonderful sensitivity to express emotion and atmosphere.

Creator Interview

Title : PINK HEART

This is the interview section.
Let’s get started right away.

Influenced by favorite cartoon and animation drawings from childhood

KiraBlue

What is the origin of the name “Amana”?

AMANA

I took it from a character in a game I like.

I love the way it sounds, it’s adorable!

KiraBlue

Now I would like to ask you some questions about your work.

What kind of work environment do you use to create your artwork?

AMANA

I use CLIP STUDIO PAINT on a second generation iPad Pro.

KiraBlue

How did you come to your current style?

AMANA

I am influenced by my favorite cartoon and anime drawings as a child.

Drawing girls with big eyes and big eye highlights is a particular influence.

KiraBlue

Indeed, Amana’s work is characterized by large eyes and pupil highlights.

AMANA

I also got hooked on the color pink through the work “PINK HEART,” which I exhibited at OpenSea, and have been creating more and more works that use pink as the main color.
(PINK HEART” is an illustration used in the Creator Interview catchphrase.)

I often add hearts and letters to make the eyes more dense

KiraBlue

When you paint people, is there a specific order in which you paint them?

AMANA

The most common order is eyes, nose, mouth, outline, body, and hair.

If the face is not painted in a cute way, the brush will not progress, so the face is painted first with a lot of energy.

KiraBlue

As I mentioned earlier, the eyes you draw are very impressive.

Is there anything you pay attention to when you draw them?

AMANA

Eyes are the most important thing to draw the eye, so I try to use a variety of colors, not just one.

I often add hearts and letters to increase the density of the eyes.

The eyes in the work “PINK HEART MEGAMI” that I exhibited at FOUNDATION are my best work to date, so please take a look!
(PINK HEART MEGAMI” is illustrated below.)

Motifs are things you want to draw or places you have actually been

KiraBlue

You have painted works with backgrounds as well as PFPs.

In those works, you have painted a variety of backgrounds.
What is your aim in deciding on the backgrounds?

AMANA

The works with painted backgrounds are mainly exhibited at FOUNDATION.

I draw with the challenge of foundation and the desire to show a new side of AMANA.

I draw motifs based on what I want to draw or photos of places I have actually been.

KiraBlue

So that’s what you’re aiming for.

Indeed, the detailed backgrounds show the care and thought that went into them.

We created a community on Twitter

KiraBlue

What are your future plans for the OpenSea and foundation collections?

AMANA

As for openensea, we will increase the number of various types of girls, mainly for the “AMANA girls collection 2nd”.

As for foundation, we will continue to challenge ourselves to show a different side to openensea!

KiraBlue

Is there anything else you would like to tell us other than the question?

AMANA

We have created a community on Twitter.

We post information on secondary sales, new releases ahead of time, community-only giveaways, rejected rough drafts, etc.

Please come visit us if you are interested!

KiraBlue

Any final comments for our readers?

AMANA

I started NFT at the end of October 2021 and have been able to continue my activities up to this point thanks to the holders and the followers who always support me.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank you.

Thank you for everything!

And for those of you who are interested in our work for the first time, please visit us not only at openensea and foundation, but also on Twitter!

It would be great if you could talk to her!

KiraBlue

Thank you, Amana.

I was surprised to hear that you added hearts and letters to make the eyes more dense.
I was impressed by the level of care and attention to detail that went into the creation of these wonderful works of art.

The Twitter community, where you can get information ahead of time and see rejected rough drafts that you normally can’t see, is open to anyone, even if you are not a holder.

He said he’d like you to feel free to join, so if you’re at all interested in Amana, let’s join the Twitter community!

Amana says that she is addicted to the color pink and has been increasing the number of works that use pink as the main color.
We look forward to seeing what kind of pink-main works she will be presenting in the future.
