A new interview-based project titled “Cool NFT Creators” has been launched.
This project is designed to introduce active NFT creators to a wider audience.
The content is quite simple.
Each time, we ask a creator a question about himself/herself or his/her work, and have the creator answer.
Since the creators can tell you in their own words, you will be able to feel the characters and other aspects of their work.
I am sure you will hear some very special stories.
The NFT creator who decorates the first installment is Kusari.
OpenSea「Chain Kusari C and ILL Collection」
Kusari’s OpenSea collection, “Chain Kusari C and ILL Collection.”
- items : 22
- owners : 35
- floor price : 0.1ETH
- total volume : 2.4ETH
（As of june 2022）
This collection is a series of personifications of the history and relationships of cryptocurrencies.
This is the interview section.
Let’s get started right away.
What is the origin of the name “kusari(chain)” and why did you choose it as your theme?
If I start talking about the origin of my name, it would take a long time to get to the level of asking you to join me for a night of drinking, so please take a look at the back of my business card first.
I’m curious about a certain video called…
A certain video is Ikehaya’s (@IHayato) YouTube How to Buy Bitcoin.
This video is probably now closed to the public.
From there, I took up the challenge of managing pancakeswap, which Ikehaya was managing.
At the time, there was no information available in Japanese at all, so it was difficult and I soon failed.
Pancakeswap is hard to find.
At that time, I saw a tweet by Ikehaya on Twitter that said something like, “Well, 99% of Japanese people will give up on Defi operation with their literacy, but wow,” and I felt as if I was being told what to do, so I studied hard while translating foreign articles out of frustration.
This is a very Ikehaya-like tweet.
From there, I was drawn more and more into the world of blockchain and joined ICL (Ikehaya crypto Currency Lab), which was subsequently established, and encountered a completely new term, NFT.
I am also in ICL, and there is a lot to learn and inspire me.
Illustration is a hobby, and since he had been doing it for so long, he started working on a Twitter account named Chain, which is Japanese for blockchain chain.
So the name comes from the blockchain chain.
I was so excited because it combined two areas of activity that never intersected in my mind!
The reason why I have so many crossed letter designs in the background of my work is because of the focus on “two areas that never intersected” and cross-chain, a technology that bridges and utilizes two different blockchains.
How do you plan to develop your collection in the future?
Nothing in particular.
If I say that I am just an anxious creator, I will explain why not in particular.
It came out of nowhere, I was surprised lol.
I may have a slightly different purpose for engaging in NFT activities than other creators.
I do not want to make a living from NFT, or make it a side business, etc. at all.
Among the many NFTs that exist among the stars, those who are interested in the works that I release irregularly due to my mood and pay me for them with their precious assets.
I want to do my best to deal with each and every one of these important holders.
It makes so much sense.
I remember when I purchased your work, I received very enthusiastic and wonderful comments from Mr. Chain.
I really appreciate your sincere response when I approached you for an interview when I started Cool NFT Creators.
We enjoy daily Twitter conversations, enjoy Metaverse and BCG together, support the activities of holders, and sometimes as business partners.
We believe that we will meet the right people at the right time. We do not rush to expand sales or scale. This stance will not change in the future.
In summary, I am just a guy who goes at his own pace (laughs).
However, I think there are some people who are not looking for this kind of hot and bothered relationship, so we will design illustrations that you will want to display oncyber and pay attention to trends.
We are always trying to brush up our 3D works that can be enjoyed in the metaverse space.
About your work, I found your facial expressions very beautiful.
What is important to you when you draw?
I myself am a bit expressionless, and there have been many times in my life when my emotions have been misunderstood and I have gotten into trouble.
That is hard.
This is a problem of nerve transmission and muscles that is difficult to remedy, so I want the characters in my work to be as expressive as possible! With this in mind, I have practiced a lot by looking at character expression practice books and my favorite manga.
I always draw while thinking about the character’s personality and the situations in which they appear.
It is because of such a base that we can express a wonderful expression.
It made a lot of sense to me.
This is a bit of a change of subject, but you are active as an inheritor of the CryptoNinja game “CryptoNinja Party!
I was approached by kasokinniku (@crypto_muscle_), the president and founder of SoudanNFT, and Hush Palette, who is in charge of managing and overseeing the lore program, are friends who studied together at ICL.
I took on this project because they are both holders of my work.
I am sure that the lore program will be finished by the time this article is published, but I plan to play CNPT as hard as I can because I love the game myself.
Kusari is really very facetious.
I am sometimes surprised when I talk to him.
X2EDAO, where President Aki (@aki_web3) is the main founder, will have a room dedicated to IsekaiBattle and Elemental Knight, and will be distributing them as much as possible. If you are interested in blockchain games and want to play with me, I would be very happy if you could come.
I am in charge of the logo icon for NFT Gamer Japan (@NFTGamerJP) , the largest BCG community in Japan.
If you are interested in BCG, check it out too!
Luin-san (@luin_aozora) , the representative, is also a holder of the chain series.
If you are interested in blockchain games, please check out X2EDAO and NFT Gamer Japan.
I often see Mr. Chain series holders on there.
I, as well as myself, can see that everyone is connected through the chain.
Is there anything else you would like to tell us other than the question?
I would like to promote my Twitter icon, header, and business card as they are filled with memories of everyone I have connected with through NFT.

The chain letter is Ichiya. (@ichiyaduke23)
Pippi and Ippi are also holders of my work, as the three of us have collaborated on works together.
In the middle are Harapei’s CutePigs.
Harapei-san (@harapei2) and I are neighbors and go out for ramen in real life, so I asked him to draw a piggy from a ramen shop.
We are almost out of time, so I would like to ask our readers for any final comments.
Thank you very much for reading this long article to the end.
You and I are already bound together by a tight chain of bonds after reading this article.
Let’s enjoy NFT together with me!
Judgment Chain!!! (Kurapika’s telekinesis in Hunter ✖️ hunter)
Thank you, kusari.
You did a great job in ending with the chain as well lol.
I think the name, his thoughts on his work, his stance towards the people around him, and kusari personality were all very well expressed.
At the end of the article, there are links to kusari Twitter, OpenSea, and Foundation, so if you are interested, please check them out.
We look forward to seeing more of your work!
